Though first controversial, it gains considerable popularity and reduces suicide rates and crime. However, for Mike, a homeless man also known as Bear, it's a harsh reminder of inequality. As Bear teams up with Tom Kind and others to evade capture, they face deadly threats from their hunters and unanticipated events. Intense strife and changing alliances cause the survival fight to intensify. Will they become prey to the cruel grasp of the system, or can they outwit it?
Solution 65 by Benedict O'Boyle is a gripping dystopian novel set in the UK following the implementation of a divisive policy. A society fighting a dividing policy is depicted graphically in O'Boyle's book. It raises important questions about the value of life and the consequences of making systemic decisions. Through the viewpoints of its wide array of characters, the book pushes readers to think about moral quandaries and the human cost of social policy solutions. For instance, Tom regularly offers to help refugees and is prepared to take significant risks in order to help a young refugee. His narrative highlights the burdens that this system places on people.
The character I most admire is Layla. She exhibits bravery at various pivotal times. Her act of bravery in saving her father's life is among her most remarkable moments. In an especially tense scene, Layla shows amazing mental clarity and fast thinking. She demonstrates her strong sense of unyielding bravery by acting decisively to protect her father in spite of the danger that is around her. Her bravery extends beyond merely rescuing her father. Layla overcomes many obstacles in the book with a bravery that belies her age.
The author displays some amazing writing abilities. He has a talent for establishing vivid scenarios and generating suspense that keeps you interested throughout. You can practically feel the tension in the air or the grit of the characters' struggles because of how thorough his descriptions are. The interpersonal relationships and realistic conversation make the plot come to life. The book delves into a complex and thought-provoking theme that challenges readers' assumptions about morality, cultural norms, and how various policies affect various sociological strata. O'Boyle's use of surprising twists is one of the book's most compelling features. One startling instance occurs when Bear approaches Hawk following a call that Hawk had with Steve. This scene gives the story a significant twist and leaves you wondering about what will happen next. You won't anticipate the novel's major twist, which comes toward the end. It completely twists the plot around and leaves you in disbelief.
I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars, and there is nothing I didn't like about the book. In the book, there were a number of other characters, like Mary and Bolt, who are affected by the policy, and Rosie, whom Tom sees as a saint. Their experiences and the difficulties they encounter are explored in the book. I recommend this book to thriller fans for its unexpected plot twists and suspenseful moments that will keep them on the edge of their seats. It is also a great read for fans of dystopian fiction.
