5 out of 5 stars.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is a story about Voulhire, which is one kingdom among many others. These kingdoms are enjoying their golden age of wealth, culture and technology. However, the people of Voulhire are finding it hard to identify themselves despite the fact that they have plenty of everything. This has created confusion and anxiety because various establishments, science, and magic offer different future predictions for these nations.

It’s in such a situation that an immigrant arrives from another country that has been ravaged by war; he wants to settle down here permanently as well as work towards making his new home better than before. The challenges facing Voulhire grow by the day while darkness looms in the background mysteriously, but this person’s significance within this territory increases, too. The writer wonders what impact this stranger, together with other inhabitants of Voulhire, will have on its fate during these uncertain times filled with change.

I give We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies five stars out of five for its fantastic world-building, complex plot, and exciting characters. Matthew Tysz has created a vibrant and immersive kingdom that is brought to life by the conflicts between religion, science, and magic, which give it depth and colour in history. The hero is an immigrant whose optimism and relatability add another layer to this story. His journey takes place during Voulhire’s golden age while darkness looms over everything. This book mixes fantasy with politics well enough not to be overwhelming but still keeps you wondering how much the main character will influence these lands. It’s such a good blend of human emotions within political intrigue set against a backdrop filled with creatures from various mythologies – truly captivating stuff that doesn’t let go till you finish reading what happens next.

The book We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a great read, but some small things might be challenging for some readers. For instance, the world-building here is intricate and detailed, which some people may find overwhelming, mainly if they’re not used to this type of writing or storytelling. Moreover, with so many characters and storylines happening simultaneously, one has to pay close attention in order to understand everything being presented fully. However, far from taking away any fun out of reading altogether, these aspects only serve to enhance our appreciation for what the author achieved in terms of creating depth within their narrative structure. In fact, these things make the book multi-layered, thus ensuring that only those who read it with utmost care will reap the most satisfaction from doing so.

The editor of the book is so sharp that there are no errors in it.

‘We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies’ is an incredibly complex and immersive fantasy novel that does well in captivating its readers through intricate world-building, interesting characters and thought-provoking themes. It may be complicated but, at the same time, deep and mysterious enough to attract all lovers of epic fantasy adventures.
