When Galen found out that his long-lost uncle wanted him to join him in Voulhire, he understood that a golden opportunity had come his way. For far too long, he had lived in a kingdom that offered him only grief. But even before he had a chance to join his uncle, the man died. Galen then stepped into his uncle's shoes and took over the family business. With the help of a character named Rowan, he learned the ways of the business and the ways of the people. But what kind of story is he part of? And what kind of story was his uncle part of?

The book addressed both science and magic. It is uncommon for these themes to appear together in the same work. I was very eager to get into We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. The title itself is so uncommon that it almost begs for definition, and I found myself wondering what "Voulhire" meant.

The story was told at a pace that wasn't "slow" as much as it was "contemplative," and in my mind, it was a pace perfect for a three-act structure. However, there seems to be a mix-up here: the lead character in this story is Galen, not Hannah. Despite this error, it's clear that the narrative was engaging enough to keep me interested throughout.

This story had a lot of suspense and tension. The fantasy novel revolves around the use of magic. Despite its fantastical nature, author Matthew Tysz did an admirable job of employing the characters in an interesting and effective manner. The plot has a strong baseline, and the author endowed each character with proper role-related traits. The language of the book was accessible and friendly, and the book had tons of material to digest.

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind read, then look no further. This is a work of pure imaginative adventure. Nothing compares to it when it comes to the plot and how it unfolds; that's its main strength. As for the main weakness, I can't think of one, which is why I'm giving it a rare 5 out of 5 stars. I also can't think of an instance when I found an error here, which might imply that it was edited exceptionally well.
