[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Stellar Wanderer" by John Brito Dalomba.]

The Stellar Wanderer: Journey Beyond the Stars by John B. Dalomba follows Nova as she crash-lands and becomes stranded on the desert planet Xerathia after her ship malfunctions. As she fights to survive the hostile environment, by some miracle, she discovers an oasis. There, she meets a mysterious being who has a surprising connection to her. Together, they embark on an incredible journey through space and time, meeting powerful beings from different realms and gaining a deeper understanding of the universe. On this journey, they face their pasts and learn about identity, forgiveness, connection, and purpose.

I was impressed by the world-building and imaginative concepts as the characters went on their cosmic adventure. The vivid descriptions of the places and unique ideas behind each realm were exceptional. 

Nevertheless, while reading, I found the transition between Nova and The Wanderer’s time on Xerathia and their exploration of the realms rather abrupt. The suddenness felt almost shocking. The story’s flow was not smooth, which was my biggest issue with the book. It jumps from one adventure to the next too quickly and without enough explanation. A portion of the book felt like a series of disjointed events, similar to a dream that gets increasingly confusing the longer it goes on. I was relieved when everything finally fell into place, but I couldn’t shake off the confusion I experienced while reading.

Furthermore, The Wanderer did not meet my expectations based on what I read in the book’s blurb, which mentioned his profound wisdom and mysterious past. Many of his statements in the book did not strike me as particularly profound; some even came across as forced and pretentious. Furthermore, the book’s early revelation of his mysterious past diminished the sense of mystery that I was looking forward to.

I enjoyed the interactions between Nova and The Wanderer in the story. Their dynamic involved supporting each other, sharing wisdom, knowledge, and experiences, and working well together. I was also pleased with their personal growth throughout the story.

The book's editing is commendable; I only noticed one error. However, I did find a confusing aspect related to the writing. In the book, The Wanderer is also called Wanderer, and the book’s blurb refers to him as the Wanderer without capitalizing the “the.” Therefore, I assume the names are interchangeable, but the book would be better if the character’s name remained consistent throughout.

Overall, The Stellar Wanderer: Journey Beyond the Stars is a good read, especially for those interested in space adventures, alternate realms, and science fiction with a touch of philosophy. Considering the well-described locations, creative concepts, enjoyable dynamic between the characters, and great editing, I decided to give this book 3 out of 5 stars. I deducted two stars due to problems with the story’s flow, confusing aspects, and my dissatisfaction with the portrayal of The Wanderer.

Some more editing work might improve this novel fixing at least partially the flaws you pointed out. As it is, it seems like a nice science fiction adventure you can read if you don't have too many expectations. Thank you for your honest review!

I loved the author’s writing style. It flowed really well, and the descriptions weren’t over the top. Some characters could’ve used more development, but overall, it was a solid read.

The Stellar Wanderer might be a book I would enjoy. I understand why you have decreased your rating, though. The issues with both the pace and the Wanderer's development can be disappointing. Thank you for being honest; I will think twice before trying this book.

Sci-fi world building books aren't really my preferred genre and this one sounds like it has some flaws, so I might skip this one.
