I have always wondered if humans are alone in the universe and if aliens are real. Nathaniel Kurt is an astronomer who is married to a cosmologist named Carolina Rey. Their relationship seemed to be going so well until Nathaniel was made the principal investigator for a project. The project was sponsored by a rich billionaire named Seth Kanis and was called ExPAnSe. It had the aim of proving that there were aliens in space and that humans could receive signals from them. The relationship between Nathaniel and Carolina started growing sore because Nathaniel had to push some of their schedules aside in order to get focused on the ExPAnSe Project. It affected it so much that Carolina decided it was time to take a break from the marriage. Will she take this break, and will it be the end of their marriage?

Bright Expanse by Daniel Zeigler is the second book in "The Brightness Trilogy." I loved what the author did with the character development of this book. For instance, the characters of Seth Kanis's personal assistant, McIver, Nathaniel Kurt, Rand Aroyan, and many others were well-developed and relatable. Their actions often made me react in different ways while I was reading the book. Nathaniel Kurt was a person who always stood for truth, and as we know, people like him sometimes get in trouble without meaning to. The way he handles things made me love his character the most.

The use of social media in the book was also well-developed. If you like science fiction that looks into aliens, cyber crimes, NASA programs, etc., then I recommend that you get a copy of this book. Also, the novel made me love God the more and helped me understand that everything happens for a reason. Even though this book mentions God, I believe that it is suitable for everyone, irrespective of their religion, as it was not a major theme.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the positive aspects I previously mentioned and its suspense, which had me glued to the story. The story has a captivating plot, and the way the author described every scene made it easy for me to imagine the whole thing! The book’s editing was also perfect, and there was nothing I disliked about it.

This sounds like the type of novel that I typically enjoy, but I noticed that it is in the middle of a series. This is not where I like to begin a story. I’m glad that you enjoyed it, though. Thanks!
