We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz tells the story of Galen, a young man who has known nothing but hardship in the war-torn Lands of the Princes. For over twenty years, he has lived amidst poverty and conflict, shaping his character and resilience. One day, a message from his uncle beckons him to Magnum Caelum in the kingdom of Voulhire, a place that seems to promise a fresh start and a brighter future. Upon arriving, Galen discovers that Voulhire, while appearing prosperous and filled with happy faces, is grappling with its own challenges. The kingdom is under threat from the Army of Riva Rohavi and the dark power of Meldorath, a formidable mage imprisoned on a distant island. As Galen navigates this new world, he faces not only external dangers but also his own journey of self-discovery.

Throughout the story, I witnessed Galen's growth as a character. He evolved from a boy with a troubled past into a young man who began to understand his own identity and purpose. This journey of self-discovery resonated with me, as it mirrored the struggles we all face in finding our place in the world. Furthermore, Galen's empathetic nature stood out to me. He had a genuine concern for others, often taking the time to understand their struggles and offer support. I also loved Galen's insatiable curiosity about the world around him. He approached every new experience with an open mind and a thirst for knowledge. This trait made his journey feel like an adventure, and it encouraged me to embrace my own curiosity in life.

If you enjoy tales filled with quests, challenges, and the thrill of exploration, this book offers plenty of action and adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It was professionally well-edited without errors, and I didn't encounter any negative aspects while reading this book.
