Voulhire is a big territory with various towns and cities, and this book tells its story along with that of the people in it. First, we see Lord Meldorath, a powerful mage who has claimed the land of Hillport for himself. His coup is justified, as the previous lord of Hillport was nothing but a tyrant. However, Meldorath, in fighting evil, has become evil, and the King of Voulhire would not have that. What will King Wilhelm do? Elsewhere, we see a young man escaping the shackles of war in the Land of Princes, and an inheritance awaits him in Voulhire. Read We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz to discover not only Galen Bray's journey but that of its other major characters.

There are enough positive aspects in this book. I like how the author includes a map of Voulhire at the start of the book because it helped my understanding a lot. At moments in the book when I barely understood the locations, I would refer back to it and find myself. The author was bold enough to use the four cardinal points to describe an area, and all I had to do was refer to the map to see if it checked out and also understand the places he was referring to. Another positive aspect of this book is that it is well edited and bears no grammatical errors. It allowed me to read the book without distractions, and I praise the author for such perfect execution.

I found nothing to dislike about this book, but I suggest the author incorporate illustrations to help the storytelling. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it has no negative aspects. I recommend it to anyone looking for a narrative about magic and sci-fi.
