When Galen Bray escapes the wars of the Lands of Princes, he arrives in Voulhire to take over his late uncle's business. His uncle was a blacksmith, and he sought to learn the trade and be proficient in it. His journey in desire leads him to travel around different states and territories with a new goal in mind. Elsewhere, Hillport has a new Lord in the form of Lord Eldus. He arrives with his wife, son, and daughter. The town is looking to gain economic change after being in poverty for quite some years. Find out more about these characters by reading this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, by Matthew Tysz.

There's a lot to enjoy about this book. I like how the story switched narratives between major characters. The complex plot points gave me something to revel in. A set of characters that I enjoyed most was Riva Rohavi. Their scenes were thrilling to read through, and I could easily imagine the dance moves, face paintings, and costumes. I found them fast-paced and adrenaline-filled. The author has done a great job editing this book, as I could not encounter a single error in its pages. Such attention to detail has made me more interested in the series, and I look forward to reading the next book. I found nothing to dislike about this book, as every aspect of its narrative appeals to me.

With these thoughts in mind, this book deserves nothing short of a perfect rating, and that is what I will be awarding it. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because there was nothing about it that I could bring myself to hate. I recommend We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies to readers who enjoy medieval fiction with a touch of technology and magic.
