Voulhire is known for its technological advancement in the north, the beautiful capital Soulhire, where the King and his court reside, and Virko's industrial achievements in the south. United under one rule by King Saint Idus, Voulhire is a haven for its citizens.

In present-day Voulhire, King Wilhelm has a secret that would tarnish his reign and reputation if the citizens found out. He confides in Lord Eldus and promotes him to Lord of Hillport. His mission is to repair the economy in the south and help achieve a golden age in Voulhire. The enemies that lurk in the shadows will do anything to stop the golden age and bring down Voulhire once and for all.

Meanwhile, Galen has arrived in southern Voulhire to inherit his great uncle's blacksmith business and home. Tasked with learning how to forge weapons and armor, his uncle left him behind detailed instructions to assist him in his forging efforts.

My reasons for rating We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies 5 stars:

The author created a book similar to an introduction to the world of Voulhire. The book introduces different characters from different cities around the land. You learn their occupation, emotions, and feelings, what their city looks like, what they look like, their thoughts, and their secrets. The world-building is phenomenal! The author created a beautiful world that is fully immersive when reading.

I loved reading this book! It's a slow burn, but the world-building and exceptional detail make it worth the wait for the action/adventure to take place. You get a feel of almost everything Voulhire and its people have to offer. You get to experience the beautiful capital, the cozy house or bed, how blue and clear the ocean is, how awful a boating voyage would be, and the hidden spectacle of the holy city. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more of the series.
