The book "No Truce With The Vampires" is a splendidly written book from start to finish. It tells of a tale of vampires, humans and their war over control of the planet Earth. Charles Gray is a middle-aged police officer who works for the vampires and does his best to bring peace in his own way. His life goes south when he is thrown into conspiracies to overthrow the empire of the vampires. I really enjoyed this story and would like to thank the author for such a wonderful story. Too bad the story ended at a cliffhanger and I can't wait for book two of this exciting story. I would also like to add that the editing of this book was very good.
Honestly, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars due to how the author made sentences simple and easy to understand by not using complicated words and phrases. Also, I really enjoyed the plot, and I wouldn't ask for more.
The slow-burn romance is also a very nice feature of this story. In a place filled with blood and war, it is not easy to fall in love and hope for a happy ever after with your partner. So the way the author brought in the element of romance is much appreciated. Charles' affection towards his woman in the end really rubbed off on me. Leaving that aside, the action is also something to write home about. The concept of predator feeding on prey is very interesting. In dire situations where a weaker entity has to find ways to overcome an even stronger opponent, there is always excitement as readers are eager to find out if the impossible was done and how it was done. It's like fishing. Use a good bait, and you can catch all the fish you want. Use a rotten bait and there is no chance of you catching any. The author has indeed used good bait to hold my interest.
Generally, there is absolutely nothing I dislike about this book. In fact, I would add this book to my collection of mind-blowing stories. I would like to thank the author once again for a wonderful story and it was a pleasure reading this book.
