With so much interest, I surfed through the pages of the book, which held so much grief and sorrow, while trying to decipher how the story would end. What a fairytale!
In this book, In The Heart of the Linden Wood, lies different forms of emotions ranging from love, hatred, sorrows, joy, loyalty, grief, commitment, admiration, kindness, hope, despair, forgiveness, and even comfort. The author really elaborated on the king's grief so much that I subconsciously started criticizing the king's actions and rationale. His harshness and aggression towards everyone seemed so out of place. He should have given the healer a chance to argue her innocence and a sympathetic ear, even though I was not pleased when the queen suffered such a terrible fate. He's a king and should behave like one.
Actually, I would characterize it as love at first sight because I adored the healer's son. I have to admit that the author gave him a very twisted role, and his adventures were excellent.
I was deeply hurt and kept wondering why the healer had such a difficult role, which resulted in the king taking away her badge and other things. It was as if the author intentionally made her get the rougher role. I love the courage and passion she displayed towards her vocation, and defying the royal command definitely won me over while silently rooting for her! I mean that courage is so unique. Her mentor also did it for me—being so kind and selfless!
In summary, this book is about a grieving and lonely king who was on the verge of losing his kingdom after his queen passed on during childbirth, several adventures, and twisted fates.
The book was enjoyable to read and had many twisted endings, so I will give it a five out of five.
It was appropriately edited because I did not find any mistakes. I do not dislike anything about the book.
In all, I love the author's ability to create this masterpiece and storyline. It was so educational and relative to reality.
This has to be the most interesting plot twist story I have come across!
