The Fish Wielder by J.R.R.R (Jim) Hardison is one fantastic and fictional novel have read so far. I honestly didn’t like the book at the beginning and almost stopped reading as it seemed a little boring and confusing. The author of the book has an outstanding take on the story combining both an adventure and fantasy wow was the best. The characters in the story make it interesting and quite entertaining to read.

Thoral Mighty Fist is one guy that has seen a lot in life and just wants it to be over. The story follows his adventures and actions through Gnome. He is a Mighty warrior who has never been defeated in Gnome and beyond. He has a very weird foreign scent and very tall among other humans in Gnome making him standout. He is very fascinated with a magic stuff and can't restrain himself from picking when he finds one. He has a magic sword that he keeps in his belt next to a plethora pouches he uses to store the magic items.

We follow Thoral and Brad as they go for an adventure into the forest and beyond until they come into an abandoned castle that is occupied by a wizard and fight with the wizard and also the dark brotherhood. we find there are several attempts to assassinate Thoral but luckily and ironically he escapes death on all these attempts.

Thoral’s character makes the book to be hilarious and interesting with his way of handling issues and also talking. Thoral seems to be a very serious guy on the outside but in a real sense he is just a normal being, he is also full of humour and pride. An example is when Brad told him to take a lantern and he insists on taking a torch of which switches off and he does not want to admit he was wrong. The book is really interesting and adventurers that made me sleep late on two night to make sure I finish the book. The fact that Thoral seems to be stupid sometimes in the book, makes it ironic to think that a warrior can do such silly things and so it's unlike him completely.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 starsas it is really captivating despite a boring start. If you are a lover of fantasy and adventure I would recommend this interesting book. The book might have been childish at some point but all in all, it was a fantastic and entertaining story.
