Fish Wielder, my interest was immediately picked by the peculiar name of this book and I can testify that it's storyline does live up to it's name. It is a perfect blend of rib - cracking comedy and epic adventures with unexpected twists and turns. The tale unfolds in the mystical land of Grome where Thoral Mighty Fist; the guy with the striking violet eyes and awesome magical sword called Blurmflard, his trusty travel companion and friend Bradfast - a fish which talks, lives on land and was saved from drowning by Thoral and his tiger striped steed, Warlordhorse.

Thoral Mighty Fist together with his companions battle the bad religion and the dark brotherhood in an attempt to stop them from procuring the pudding of evil. They make friends and allies along the way, and together form the fellowship of the pudding.

This book is a very entertaining take on fantasy themed novels and i dare say a parody of some adventure and fantasy themed classics. I found myself cracking up more than half the time I read this book and it became somewhat of a happy place for me. The suspense and shocking turns the story takes are just unbelievable and jaw dropping. The pace of this novel is fast and exciting, you would not easily get bored. It is commendable how the writer manages to keep the pace of the book consistent and exciting until the end. It really surprised me how the writer manages to keep the humorous and sarcastic nature fresh throughout the book without it becoming tiresome and monotonous . This book really is a job well done.

Mr Hardison is a genius, the cliffhanger he incorporated makes you just want to stalk him and beg him to write some more. The high volume of unanswered questions in this book begs for a sequel. I brimmed with excitement the whole time I read this book and itched for it whenever I put it down.

I rate Fish Wielder 4 out of 4 stars, if there were a higher amount of stars I would give it an even higher rating. I really had a great time reading this book and I recommend that you have a go at it. Sarcasm, irony and comedy are themes that are abundant in this book, if you love some silliness and comedy this is the book for you. Beware the cliffhangers! If cliffhangers are not your kind of thing, then this book is not recommended for you because this book has cliffhangers and leaves some questions unanswered.
