A young man accidentally discovers an ability he had all along while troubleshooting one of the computers brought into the orphanage where he grew up. This opens up a whole new world and doorways to opportunities no other human could have a hold of, or so he thought. The life he was planning to live suddenly lost its appeal, for the orphanage's doting head administrator had deposited a seed of greatness in his mind. Up to that point, he was determined to get a good education to secure the kind of future they both envisioned for himself.

A dream informed him of the purpose of his gift and before long he found himself busy making use of it. This leads him into a labyrinth of working the fortunes of people who were virtually in their own league wealth-wise. Barely out of his teens, he now had access to all the fine things in life that people work lifetimes for. While going about doing his ‘Robin Hood’ activities he makes a false move that gets his friend and himself in trouble, leading him in down a path of regret, guilt and the need for vengeance.

A meeting with the scientist behind his heritage gift-wise shifted the paradigm of his reality and gave closure questions he had about where he came from. This did not slow him down though, leading to more actions that attracted unwanted attention and gave birth to more regret.

This is definitely a great work of fiction by Alex Fayman, his first book in the Superhighway series. Is there any reason he decided to first-name the main character after himself? I digress. I was glued throughout the forty-some chapters of the book. The unique plot was well told with the opening scene showing the end and the very last scene showing what transpired just after. I recommend this book to those who enjoy scientific works of fiction of the geeky kind.

I liked the author’s unusual concept which was new to my mind and a strong point of interest. There wasn’t much not to like about the book except frequent references to booze and recreation drugs in a somewhat appealing way. Explicit scenes were low key, as the book’s romantic relationships weren’t the author's main focus.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars for its unique plot and entertainment value. I did not see any grammatical errors, the author and Publish Green did a good job here.
