Superhighway by Alex Fayman tops the list of books of the Superhighway trilogy. The central character of this book is a teenage boy, Alex Fine. Alex becomes an orphan at a very tender age and so he is taken care of at an orphanage in Los Angeles, California. At the orphanage, life is not that easy to Alex. He moves from one orphanage to the other and he also fails to get adopted.

Before I can say more about this book, let me reveal that this book is not recommended to people who may be “allergic” to reading about the abuse and torture of youngsters. At the scratch of this book, Alex’s life appears to be chocked by various problems and I think that this may not go down well with people who hate seeing children facing neglect and various abuses.

The orphanage acquires some computers at long last and it is at this time that Alex realizes that he has capacity of moving through several streams of data. Alex makes use of his new skills to rejuvenate his life. He has access to military information, online bank accounts and several other databases. Things move well for Alex till he comes across very deadly groups such as the CIA and the Russian Oligarch. These enemies are very dangerous and Alex lacks the ability to defeat them single-handedly.

Alex Fayman equips the cast of this book by including several characters who are strongly developed and thus easy to relate and identify with. In an attempt to have readers nailed down to this book, Alex Fayman ensures that he develops the book into a fast-paced page-turner that is flowing through the tunnels of the internet with various twists and turns to firmly glue you to the book.

The major theme of technology and the internet will leave you wondering on how we are vulnerable and much exposed to the internet predators who are always determined to prey on us. As I placed down this book, I prepared my hands ready to grab the successive book in this trilogy and read it.

Lovers of sci-fi will not hesitate to give Superhighway a try since this book is customized to have them reap much out of the story. Alex Fayman appears to be determined to break the glass ceiling as far as the genre of sci-fi is concerned. I failed to notice serious mistakes on the book and so I had just to give the book 4 out of 4 stars. I believe that Superhighway is the best book to have your thirst for sci-fi quenched.
