Johuans as a species were far advanced from the other occupants of the awakened worlds. Amongst the Johuans the Ovions as a special breed are an elite group of sentinels, security enforcers not restricted to Johua alone, but to other planets occupied by intelligent beings in the awakened segments of the universe, they were the key contributor to peace that currently reigned across the awakened worlds.
Bimas Chalwey is a renowned Johuan scientist, inventor, and space traveller with tendency to cause mayhem and destruction but with good intentions. Bimas finds out about the existence of Ovions from Johua who fled several millennia’s ago to Zyper and called themselves Heilars. The Heilars Bimas discovered have developed capabilities to read minds and ability of flight as a result of their non use of EM1 (Emotional Management Technology).
Sim Drewal a creation of Bimas Chalwey is arrested in planet Lycus by Ovion security personnel led by Xion. While in Xion’s custody Sim discovers the truth about her creation and learns that Bimas Chalwey is her creator and sire. Sim later meets one of her siblings Ari Imas a Heilar from planet Zyper, from Ari she gets to know about her other siblings Aina and Sona. Bimas summons Sim, Ari and Xion to planet Earth giving them the coordinates. On arrival they learn that Earth is under threat and they combine forces to confront and avert the danger to prevent the destruction of Earth and its inhabitants.
The Final Frontier, The Ovions Archives has a well laid out plot; even the characters are dynamic in their roles which is a plus. What I admire most about the book is the author’s use of concepts such as sals, darth, sals sals, to depict time, and technologies like spacemobile. These concepts and devices give the reader a pictorial imagination of scenes in the book which creates semblance between the fictional characters and plots with reality.
I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. This is because of the author’s ability to succinctly merge his fiction and blend it will real life concepts. The Final Frontier, The Ovions Archives is a novel rich in scientific content such as the big bang theory and black holes, and these will most certainly make the book appealing to scientist and astrologers. I also commend the author for this wonderful and mind blowing work of creativity. And suggest that a movie adaptation of the book be considered by the author.
