Heaven and Earth is a book written by Arturo Riojas, and it is in the genre of fantasy novels. Many years of spacecraft exploration have led to the continuous search for answers as to how one may be able to live in a planet other than earth which supports life. Egroeg is the son of one of the clans in the planet of Treretum, which is the Drutsab Clan. Egroeg is also the Head Officer of the Total Intelligence and Security Agency in the planet of Treretum. Egroeg is destined to become one of the great leaders in the history of Treretum, and he should prove that to his people. The Treretumians are on earth to research the causes and effects of contaminants by the earthlings.
Cadmium poisoning is one of the most dangerous metals found in the history of humanity or the earthlings. Cadmium is in the food processing chain, and its effects are devastating to humanity. The chemical symbol of Cadmium is (Cd). Cadmium works closely with another metal, which is Zinc. Cadmium is found in the inorganic fertilizers we use nowadays to farm. Cadmium has a half-life of thirty years in the body of the earthlings. The metal accumulates in the pancreas, kidneys, liver, bones and even the bladder of human beings or the earthlings.
Arturo did a nice job by professionally editing the work, and I enjoyed following the work because of the exceptional editing. Books poorly edited make the themes difficult to read and deduce a complete understanding. I found the characters to be very thrilling because they all handled their roles properly.
A few illustrations in the work helped me to better understand the characters and the plot. Illustrations are paramount in the creation of interest and zeal to readers. They make the reader feel as if he or she is at the scene. This was one of my interest areas to help me imagine what was happening in these two planets.
I liked the author's theme which deals with the pollution of the earth and the effects of this negative attitude. Initially, I knew nothing about the causes and the effects of the metal which is Cadmium. But through the work of Arturo, I learned a lot about the causes of Cadmium poisoning and the solutions to curb this menace. We have a lot of chemicals we ingest nowadays, and through this work, you will learn the reservoirs of Cadmium in the earthlings or human beings.
The topic of Cadmium poisoning in the book is just not any misinformation provided by the author, but they are facts about Cadmium provided by the author. Arturo also included some links which can be used on the internet for further confirmation of the information or the facts he included in his work. I did give him the necessary honor and credit for the research and health tips he shared with us.
Some Spanish sentences are also included in the texts, and they are translated into the English language immediately after the Spanish sentences. And I know this was an initiative to make his work very unique and intriguing to those who are fluent in the Spanish language. The Spanish sentences are just a few to prevent people who do not understand them to feel bored.
I, therefore, rate the work 4 out of 4 stars. There were no obvious grammatical or typographical errors in the book. I did not rate it three because the characters all played their roles properly. Rating the work two would be unfair as I noticed no sentence fragments or character misplacement in the book. It would be a disaster to rate the book one since I got more knowledge or facts about Cadmium poisoning on earth. I have nothing I liked least or most about the book. The novel could be intriguing to people who love traveling in space because the fantasy takes care of that. People who hate health themes should not read the work because the main theme deals with the metals which contribute to our short lifespans as human beings.
