Chrome Mountain by Ben Schneider, is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel. This is about a scientist Trey, and a woman Sonya. These two people will cross paths and will be on the ride of a lifetime. This book is fictional, but it uses real-world landmarks for the setting.

Sonya McCall is a woman who is running from her abusive ex-boyfriend Levi, and the biker gang that she joined. She knows the mistakes that she has made were wrong and she is trying to turn over a new leaf. But she has to actually get away first to start her new life and this becomes difficult, but not impossible.

Trey Radisson is a man who is a scientist. He has created an invention that could change the world, but he keeps having nightmares that this could cause more trouble than it is worth. Not knowing what else to do he destroys the contraption before bringing it to his superiors. In turn, it is this exact invention that creates the catalyst.

This book was well written and edited professionally. We get to know our characters separately as their own person before they come together. That way we can see how they work together and why. This book was written in the third person, and that was important for this type of book so that we could get the full picture of what was going on in every part of the book instead of getting snippets.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. This book was entertaining to read, had a lot of action involved, and gave a lot of descriptions. It also has a happy ending which is always a major plus. It was a great read. The genre says Sci-fi and fantasy but it should also have spiritual, because of their belief in god. This book is definitely recommended and you won't regret reading it.
