It is a practical book that one involves oneself in but at some point, a healthcare provider is needed for assistance to help make the benefits of this book more effective.

I think most content of this book can be self practiced but I will still say readers who are dealing with very extreme stress and anxiety case should see a professional.

The book is a practical guide. It is a self-help book for readers to walk themselves through the steps. I believe the book will be useful and useable to both medical and non-medical practitioners.

The book is a very practical one. The authors gave remedies or ways to go about the two concepts which the book deals with. Following it judiciously would yeild positive results.

It IS a practical guide, in my opinion. I don't believe the author intended for it to be a replacement for expert diagnosis and management, though. It is more of an adjunct to specialized medical assistance.

You stated clearly, and I quote, "This is a practical guide to relieve anxiety and stress, by two authors who are renowned as well as experienced in the subject." That said, the guidance given is applicable. However, this doesn't warrant individuals from seeking assistance from a medical practitioner. I think the book can be used as a reference point.

Generally for, everyone else, during those stressful days, the book can go a long way in calming those nerves. It serves different PURPOSES as it is a guide and not a specific prescription. But as always advised, it is always good to seek professional advice when the symptoms persist.

I think the book gives helpful advice that can be used in real life. When anxiety is really bad, getting professional help is important. But the book's methods and tips are practical and can work in everyday situations.
