Overall this book impressed me. I found it easy to comprehend and helpful.

What I liked the most was how real-life examples were used to explain symptoms or techniques. I think readers can connect these descriptions to events in their own lives, perhaps realizing they have symptoms they were not aware of previously.

What I disliked was that the authors seemed so anti-traditional treatments that it came across as if those who take prescription medication are doing something wrong. I understand the strong opinion towards natural alternatives, but it isn’t possible for everyone to utilize them. There is already a stigma attached to mental illnesses and this idea of it being “bad” to use prescription medications just seemed to add to that.

I gave the book 3 out of 4 stars, but only because I found a few grammatical errors and a spelling error.

Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress: A Practical Guide gave me a lot of information in a concise, easy-to-understand way. Natural methods of healing have always been part of my family's lifestyle and I got some good techniques from this book, especially ways on managing stress and anxiety. The way the author presented his content, the jargon-free, non-verbose way the book was written, was very reader-friendly and helpful.
I loved the book and I rate it four out of four.

This book is short but full of information. Today, most people have some degree of anxiety and stress. This book explained the problem one by one and offered solutions from different perspectives. It is a step by step guide which people should have one on their shelf as reference.

I like that the author included how to obtain relief from the symptoms of anxiety instead of just listing them without information.

"Natural Relief for Anxiety ad Stress: A Practical Guide" , as the name suggests, is a practical book for recognising anxiety and stress in everyday life and tells of ways to cope with them. I liked the simple and straightforward format and presentation of the book without heavy scientific terms and definitions for certain conditions. The book provides a holistic approach to dealing with stress and anxiety- from herbal and therapeutic options to more serious substance s to yoga and meditation in dealing with the symptoms. Furthermore, the author delves deeper and explains in layman terms the different triggers of anxiety in different humans and ways to recognise those triggers and work in controlling them. Above all,the book suggests to embrace the reality of the presence of anxiety and stress in life and work in decreasing them instead of pushing these problems beneath the carpet. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars and would highly recommend others to read it. However,i think the name of the various substances mentioned along with their daily intake amount may encourage amateur persons to try medicating themselves without proper expert medical guidance.

I think that this is a book that you will want to keep on hand to refer back to as you try the various methods described. I found it to be super helpful in understanding what anxiety can look like and how to help yourself to alleviate it. I will most likely be using a lot of the deep-breathing exercises with my students. I'll also be shopping for a few of the herbal supplements for myself as insomnia is a huge problem for me. There are some natural methods that I am eager to try. Overall, very well-written and informative.
