Exercising and Yoga are like golden methods to keep anyone fit, physically and mentally. I think that will work for anyone instead to taking medicine because that can only support for a short run.

Running helps me a lot. If not running, then taking long nature walks has always worked wonders for me.

Ranting also works (lol)

While Chamomile tea and Ashwagandha do help in calming me down, I find exercising to be more effective in relieving anxiety. I think fresh air while jogging clears my mind a bit.

I personally find meditation to be the most effective. I used to have very bad anxiety during exam season. I has difficulty breathing and it was overall a tough situation. After consistently practicing meditation daily for 2 months, I have seen results so definitely it is the most effective for me.

Other than that I exercise and chamomile tea to be helpful.

I know it’s not what most people want to hear but for me cannabis works. It helps me sleep and it keeps me calm throughout the day.

Physical exercise, especially jogging works best for me. It helps the muscles relax and keeps the mind relaxed.

Among all the numerous therapies mentioned in this book, I find 'Natural Remedies' the most effective! I love the alternatives of breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, diet monitoring, hydration, exercise, yoga, meditation and mindfulness as a treatment for stress and anxiety!

So as not to be too repetitive, I think the best method is of course regular exercise, preferably as intensive as possible, combined with my additive of personal interaction during or after that exercise. I think training with another helps keep one in check, and afterwards sharing time with another helps in coping with the highs and lows of adrenaline and fatigue that alter one's mood considerably.

I just started exercising as a stress reliever because I have a very busy 4 year old, and a 10 year old going on 16. I find exercising clears my head, and brings me back down to earth. As a bonus they love it.
