I do not think VR is a deviation from this book, I believe it is also necessary to as well because it could be used to treat some forms of fear and fear is one factor of anxiety and stress.

I do not think in VRs was a deviation. I the natural used in the title of this book means non-medicinal or non-drug relief for stress and anxiety.

VR's are also effective in some situations and I don't think it should be contradicted with natural remedies because they each serve their purposes.

I don't believe it is a deviation. From a different perspective, virtual reality involves a physical experience. They appear to want people to be aware of non-medication treatments.

VRs, in my opinion, can be useful in certain circumstances. Natural remedies work well, but VR has a significant impact on stress and anxiety reduction. Stress and anxiety management would benefit greatly from the allure of a relaxing virtual environment.

The entire book deals with natural remedies as a way to combat stress, anxiety, and fear. The author mentions Virtual Reality as an effective means to treat Phobias, and this seems contradictory to the "Natural remedies" in the book.
Do you think VR as a treatment for phobias contradicts with the books underlying remedy prescription?

VR can be confusing. These VR things can be addictive and not a good way to avoid real life. Spending lots of time in a virtual world isn't very helpful. It's better to face our real problems and use natural solutions to handle anxiety and fears.

It doesn't really matter, the author has his reasons for it which was important, but I won't try that out.
