I did. The book just reinforced the idea. I've had times in my life where I had to cancel on clients because I just couldn't move around or get anything done. Physical pain is a real source of anxiety.
Jachike, I think you missed the point in your post. Physical pain is not being referred to here as a cause of anxiety, but a symptom of anxiety. And DEFINITELY physical pain can be caused by anxiety.

I was grateful for the explanation of the connection between anxiety and depression: “Pеорlе whо are clinically dерrеѕѕеd have a chemical imbаlаnсе thаt mау саuѕе оr be a side effect оf аnxiеtу.”

I learned that stress and anxiety can lead to constant physical deterioration. I always thought that stress can only reduce focus and cause overthinking, which leads to reduced performance, but it turned out that it can affect your health in various ways.

I have learnt that it is good to share what you are going through with someone you can trust who will walk with you through the journey to recovery rather than die with the problem alone.

Coming to think of it, neck and shoulder pain really do make look at the whole day from a depressing perspective.

Anyway, I was curious as to what other ideas everyone else may have picked up on?
This is the best lesson. If you learn self-control and how to react to external stimuli to control circumstances, life can be a lot easier.

I learned not to be a couch potato. I should seriously start looking after my health and eating a balanced diet.

I didn't know that either. Thanks to the book, now we know!

I think there are so many lessons to be taken from this book and it will be different for each person. What one person finds as significant, might be common place for others. I did think it was interesting the list of physical symptoms listed that were linked to stress and anxiety.

This aspect of the book gave me great insight into my eating habits. Also talking about sharing our experience with others to help reduce the levels of anxiety and stress really would help readers to become more open to others for help when needed

I learnt that I have to be aware of my doing. If I got any problems I would like to share my problems with my family and friends who are close to me.

This is very true. We tend to keep emotions hidden at times, but opening up to those you trust can be a huge stress reliever.

My main takeaway from the book is "Take control of your life today!"

Our actions are our choice and we take responsibility for the consequences of our actions. The earlier we start, the better.

What we eat, how much we exercise and how we react to our surroundings seems to be the main points and are all in our own control. It would seem that the answers are so much simpler that we thought and that our main reason for stress is our selves. That is a very bitter pill to swallow.

For me, I learnt the symptoms of stress. I found it fascinating because I have seen my body exhibiting similar symptoms in the past, but I saw it as nothing. So i believe its time to start taking of my body fully.
