Fear is something that everyone can relate to, but when it becomes excessive, it can be the source of anxiety disorders.

Fear is a big anxiety symptom and a whole chapter was dedicated to it to buttress that. Fear is actually a misalignment of our imagination and brings changes in the adrenaline rate. In most case fear is triggered by our past experiences and upbringing. Breathing and meditation can help reverse the the challenges of fear.

I do not agree with the author as fear can be borne out of worrying over what has not happened or instant fear over some thing frightful. I am caught in between the 2 kind of fears that's why i often get anxious. With this book, i have being able to overcome some stresses and reconfigure my mindset against the responses that heightens my anxiety.

Although anxiety disorders and fear are related, neither anxiety disorders nor fear are anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorder is caused by worrying over situations and their outcome. Although it is a common emotion, fear is not an anxiety disorder.

The author has said that fear is among the symptoms of anxiety disorder.
Do you agree that every fear you have is always related to an anxiety disorder symptoms?
He says it can be fear of animals, object, etc
What is your fears?!
For example me I fear butterflies but not all of them ,there is a big black butterfly that have big eyes. When I saw it in my house I can't enter until I search help from someone to kill it or throw it out of the house and i have this fear since I was children then now I am a mother , I steel have the same fear. I don't know why. Is it an anxiety disorder symptom? Don't know

I understood that the author meant certain irrational fears might be caused by anxiety disorders. Usually, phobias fall under that category, such as phobias of snakes or stage fright, which are common ones.

While fear and anxiety are related, it may not be accurate to claim that all anxiety originates from fear. Instead, it is more common for the two to coexist. For example, personally, I may experience discomfort when going into crowded places, but it may not necessarily stem from a fear of those places. It could simply be a general dislike or unease.
