I have also wondered why the book was entitled, Kalayla. When I was about to read it, I thought it only revolved on Kalayla's story. I cannot think of an alternstive title yet, but I think, the book's title could have been different.

It is appropriate to name it Kayla. But it was good including Lena in the title; as an option " My neighbor Kayla" could be good.

The title is very well suited for the book. Kalayla was a well-developed and influential character. Besides, the book is centered around Kalayla. I would not change it at all.

I think it's appropriate. She is the cord that tied them all together in the first place. Without her Lena and Maureen would have just have been friendly neighbours.

The young girl is the centerpiece of the story. She’s the one that lit up the story, and brought everyone together. So I think the title is good the way it is.

I found Kalayla to be somehow rude, therefore I don't support her name being used as a title.

Kalayla is just okay.
I agree with this as well...this title would have also been a great one, but I enjoy the simplicity of the book being called Kalayla after the main protagonist.

The title, Kalayla, is quite appropriate. This is because, she is the centre of what the story is all about. She is the 'conflict' while others serve as the means to resolution. No wander the author has kept the name so short—Kalayla.

Since Kalayla is the main reason why the women were mentioned, I think the author did a good job in using Kalayla as the title of the book.

I think Kalayla is more suited because she is the common denominator between Maureen and Lena. She is a well built character with humor and sarcasm. I would not change it.

Kalayla is an entrancing name and this was the reason I was intrigued to read about its blurb. Also, our little leading lady Kalayla is like the thread that weaves the three women together and hence it is appropriately titled.

Kalayla is the perfect title for the book because she is center of everyone’s life in the story be it directly or indirectly.

The title, in my opinion, is fitting for the novel. Kalayla connects the three characters and is also a wonderful and distinctive name that will attract the reader's attention.

I think the title is appropriate. Although the book doesn’t centre around Kalayla alone, she’s the crucial character that ties it all together.

I think Kalayla is a better option. She is the one that brings everyone in the book together. If the book had to have someone's name, then it's Kalayla's. If it wasn't her name then the book would have a moral lesson as the title.
