Favorite Character

The character of Lena was my best character. Her eagerness to correct a past mistake intrigued me.

Two characters really stuck to me in this book and they are Kalayla and Lena. For Kalayla, I admired her boldness and how she feels she can take care of herself. For Lena, I love how she showed affection for both Kalayla and her mother.

Kalayla. She was so mature for her age, though her know-it-all attitude could be too much sometimes. I also liked Maureen because it takes courage to go against all you've been taught because you know it's false.
