We can't control who we love. Interracial marriages should be accepted.

I think it would be a shame if in this day and age interracial marriage wasn't accepted. The world is smaller thanks to technology. Cultures are being exchange, so are values, meaning this can no longer be an excuse of not understanding each other. I don't think Kalayla's difficulties was because she was biracial, rather because she was poor.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

I believe it is acceptable in the modern world today. I have seen a lot of interracial marriages.

Interracial marriage is something that should be welcome wholeheartedly. It could be a form were cultural ideas could be shared. It would say it contributed to Kalayla painful experience.

Any marriage built on love, trust and mutual support always stands out, interracial marriages can work in our present day, when the couples love and trust each other.
It would take much work as across racial lines, perceptions and belief may form certain ideologies disastrous towards one partner.
Kalayla had to go through a lot, this happened by being raised by one parent, poor socio-economic standard led to all what she had to go through.
