Human-built relationships can sometimes thrive far more than blood relations. It all depends on our experiences and how we interact with others.

You do not need to be related by blood to have a close relationship with someone.

I don't think so, but sometimes, when family relationship fails. They can stand in the gap, and tend to be stronger.

I think this just depends on how close one's blood relations are to them. It is beautiful to see that the strong love and support you wish to get from your relations is what to get from a stranger who chooses to love you.

I believe it’s true to an extent. We might mostly be more in vicinity of our neighbourhood friends and connections formed over time. Relatives have a permanent place and they play significant role, but relations formed otherwise could be stronger.

Yeah sometimes outside relations is stronger than blood relations. Most times, it is because of the character of the family members or the distant relationship among families.

I think blood relations are stronger than man-made relations because in this case it would be being in and raised in the same environment with similar genes. In Kaylayla though that was not the case, Lena's mother just abandoned her as soon as she went off course, yet Lena was so accommodating to Kaylayla a stranger. At the end, it depends on the individuals in the relationship.

I don't agree. Man made relationship last no doubt, but blood relations can't be compared. In the story Lena was in good relationship with Kayala and they spend time. Kayala mum was not always with her but the love is still there.

I think it depends on the type of family you grew up in. Some are more close-knit than others hence there would be a stronger bond. On the other hand, if you went through say a hostage situation with someone that bond would be strong too

I don't think free will man relationships are stronger. I just feel since outsiders don't know you, they don't think of whatever the person has done to them.

I think they can be stronger, but it would depend on the person's family and the kind of friends they make. Found family is one of my favourite tropes. Deciding who gets to be family and who doesn't is empowering, and blood relatives don't always make the cut.

If the person in question has a rough time relating to those that their blood-related, then it would mean stronger bonds would grow with those that they aren't if they showed more compassion and care.
