I liked Lord Eldus's character and I was very sad when he died I kept having hope that he would be revived. To me, he had one of the major roles in the book and should not have been dismissed so early.

I enjoyed reading about Lord Eldus. I was just shocked he passed away. It was as if he is going to come back. tI miss his role.

I expected to be honest, from the very beginning I thought he reminded me a lot to Ned Stark! I still liked how it happened, at least he managed to fight and try to do what was right. Still, it was sad.

I was beyond surprised by Eldus' demise; I was saddened. He seemed promising, and his death to me was too easy. Evil forces were too many; I think Eldus' continuity would have done well for the balance of good versus evil. I expected more resistance to the attack on Lord Eldus' residence. He had so much potential to be killed so early on in the story.
The gift turned out to be a curse. They killed him with kindness.
