I rated this book 4 out of 4 stars. I read this book in 2019, but I still have a sense of the characters and mystery. I loved the suspension. Galen's childlike innocence is refreshing.

I rated this book four out of four stars because I found it to be captivating. The narrative tended to tag me along, as if by an invisible thread, to discover more about Voulhire and about the book's characters. I loved the suspense because it kept me interested at every point. The only minor dislike I had was with the use of obscenities, because they made me uncomfortable. Fortunately, this was not excessive.
I'll definitely recommend the book to other lovers of fantasy fiction and book lovers in general

I rated this book 3 out of 4, since it is not perfect, however it is a great start of the series. I am already reading books no. 5 and 6 in the series, so definitely Matthew Tysz made a good job. This book is specifically very captivating.

The book was an absolute amazement. I truly loved everything about the magic. I did not at all like how naïve galen was made. I kept hoping he will change as we go further into the book but the boy just kept disappointing. My darling Lord Eldus died and I never healed. I could just straggle the author for what he did to my Eldus. He was the hope for the nation.

I found this book very interesting, and I couldn't rate it less. The writing style of the author, his character development, and the plot of this story are top-notch. This installment exposed me to lots of magical abilities mages posses in the fictional land of Voulhire.

I have just completed reading this book and I can not wait into the next one in the series. I give 4 stars for eloquence, a steady plotline, great dialogue, superb character development, and the fantasy is very realistic.

I would say 3 out of 4 stars, because the characters had very limited characteristics. Baring that every part of the book was perfect.

I have to be honest, I'm not a huge fantasy fan. However, I kept running into very positive reviews about We are Voulhire and after a while I got curious enough to pick it up. And really, I was very positively surprised. I expected something a lot less serious, both story- and character-wise. I especially liked the writing style and the world the author presented. It's a 4 out of 4 for me.

I have just started reading We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies and I am currently in volume 1. I think the writer did an intentional job in writing this book. I don't see myself giving it less than 4 stars. I wont hesitate to read the following volumes

I personally gave this book 2 out of 4 stars. I like some of the general themes, but for me the plot sort of fell apart and I just didn't really connect with the characters as I didn't feel we ever got to know them well enough.

I'm extremely impressed at the complexity tackled by the author. I mean there are so many threads being woven into one whole here. And I really dig the new types of magic

The story was crafted with care and meticulously edited. I liked Galen and Lord Eldus very well. In the end, I gave the book four out of four stars, but I agonized about whether or not to knock a star off my rating because I felt that overall the female characters were presented in a sexist light. Beth saved the fourth star in my rating.

I gave this book a four out of four star rating. Despite that it’s slow and has very little action, I found it hard to put this book down. I loved the characters and the plot line. I cannot wait to read the other books in this series.

At first, I thought that the book would not be as interesting and decided to skip it. However, I started noticing many great reviews about the book. People seemed to be enjoying the book very much, and I decided to give it a try. Luckily, I did not regret my decision at all. As soon as I picked up the book, I couldn't put it down. I recommend the book to everyone. It is definitely worth the time. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
