I was also shocked and deeply disappointed upon his death. He'd shown so much potential at making record-breaking improvements on Hillport. It was a big blow to the town of Hillport.

This is exactly what I thought would happen too. But alas, it was not to be. I suppose Marshus will have to take up the torch and avenge his family.

For me too. Especially between him and his teenaged son. You could see how human he was, he loved his son but his son got on his nerves a lot. You could also see how intelligent he was, he studied his son's behaviors and saw the real motive underneath his actions whilst others only saw what he (Marshus) wanted them to see. It was sad to read Lord Eldus go like that.Josephe-Anne wrote: ↑01 Oct 2020, 22:31 Lord Eldus was my favorite character in the book. So, I was very disappointed by his violent and untimely demise. I would have liked to see more of him and his realistic family. For me, the interactions between him and his teenaged son and daughter were the best parts of the story.
