A lot of books had been written over time, it would be similar with some. However, the author's unique touch, style and passion shone through making this a unique book.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

I do think the story is unique as I have never read a book that's correlates science with magic and the author has done so.

The idea of good fighting evil is as old as life itself, but the storyline is original and intriguing. There are so many possibilities for the rest of the series.

It remained me to Eragon (or The Inheritance Circle if we talk about the whole serie). And, of course, to A Song of Ice and Fire. But I still feel this is an original idea with new things to offer to the reader.
