You're right, it isn't clear why they are helping Meldorath, maybe their are just maniacs who just want to spread blood or they have something in mind that we will see soon.

I think they were helping Meldorath unintentionally. Their goals lined up for the moment, so when Riva attacked Hillport, Meldorath also benefitted.

I think Tiva Robavi want dominance over Voulhire. As for their connection with Meldorath, I think they are just aligning with the person causing the most disruption, which serves their purpose.

I don't think that the Riva Rohavi knew that it was actually Lord Meldorath who sent the tip. The tip arrived anonymously to Riva. Infact I believe that Tysz mentioned that the Riva feared Lord Meldorath. As for their cause, I think they are against the success of the kingdom of Voulhire.

They seem to be fighting to establish their power in Voulhire. At the end of the sixth book, they get the help of a prominent figure. I'm waiting for the seventh book to see the results of such collaboration.

I was under the impression that they had an issue with the rulers and wanted to usurp them and take power for themselves.

I have not read the rest of the series, so this is just a guess. Meldorath is portrayed as a powerful character who wields physical and mental control over others. The Ravi "seem" to be following their own agenda of revenge and thirst for power. Could they also be under the control of Meldorath?

I think Riva Rohavi is presented as a kind of anarchist group who opposes power. However, I am not yet sure if they are alligned with Meldorath or it was just a coincidence that he used in his favor.

From just reading book one in the series, I assume they want total control over Voulhire. That is the only reason I could think up as to what the Riva Rohavi would want to fight for.

I think the Riva Rohavi are trying to destroy Voulhire and establish a new empire consisting of the Riva.
And as for why they alleid themselves with Meldorath. I think they just agreed to help each other out as both their aims were the same. Like the USA and Soviet Union did during second world war.

I think they want to rule the Vulhire and they are strictly against the king or kingdom. At least I presume that one, since it is not clearly stated what they actually want.

I felt like they hated the way they were looked down upon but I also think there is more to their hatred that just that. I think they only work with Meldorath because they push the same course at a certain point

Great ideas as to possibly what they’re fighting for. I’m still not sure how much power they want but I wonder if the dancing gets tied in somehow.

Well Riva Rohavi feels like magic to bring disruption and overall revenge against the city. I'm also not certain about their relationship with Lord Meldorath

I read somewhere in the book how King Idus slaughtered them because they didn't want to merge as one country. So I think they want to have their revenge and rule Voulhire. I still can't figure out their alliance with Meldorath, I think it might be explained in further series.
