My favorite perspectives were Rowan's and Eldus's although for different reasons. Rowan is mysterious and I want to know more about him. I liked Eldus's industriousness, seriousness, and how approachable he is to the people he leads.

I love Galen's role. To me, he seems to be the driver of the book's plot. From the start he made me to be curious of what is next about for him as the story unfolds

I loved Eldus Alderman's perspective, his serenity, kindness, compassion and intelligence was amazing. I felt a deep connection with him, that I cried when they attacked and killed him .

I so much like Rowan. I think people with his kind of nature are usually easy going. He is very funny and jovial. He behaves like a Kid at times. I really liked him.

Lord Eldus was my favorite character. He was put in an impossible situation and took it head-on. It was so interesting to read his plans for helping change the town that had been left in disarray. I like that we got to see him grapple with the complexity of the situation he found himself in.

I admired Galen's perspective because he was milk and humble, and not clearly notable in the novel but observant of his environment and the feelings of his companion. This attribute didn't make Galen a lesser man but a wise man who carefully and deliberately considers his decision his decisions before acting.

I liked Galen's perspective the most. His innocence attracts pity. He is too innocent to be in such a messy place. I like him because of his growth; he is learning fast.

I’m not sure, but Galen’s chapters seemed promising. Eldus’s chapters were shocking. As well as some other characters' chapters where you get to learn a lot of secrets. I’m not sure I can decide if I have a favourite. :eusa-think:

Lord Eldus had most of the story in this book. I won't be surprised if he's everyone's best perspective because for me, he is. I lived how distinct he and his whole family was throughout the book.

Yes, I felt the same way too. I like his reasonable spirit, it's just a pity his story was cut short. I also did like Galen story perspective too.

I liked Galen’s perspective. Galen is like a baby deer learning to walk, so learning Voulhire from his innocent mind was interesting to read.

I liked Galen, Rowan and Lord Eldus points of view. But for favourite, I think it would be Rowans, I love the way he thinks.

I liked Rowan's perspective best. He is funny aand doesn't take things to heart. We are alike in that aspect.

Is it just me, or is Galen a little too good to be true? I would like to see if he has a more sinister side to him. I can't see how it's possible for him to not be emotionally damaged after having survived such a harsh upbringing. I guess there is a lot of room for character development in the following novels in the series.
