With Galen being the protagonist of the novel and Lord Meldorath (Isn't that eerily similar to Lord Voldemort?) being set up as the villain, I think it is inevitable that they will not only meet but enter into a clash of epic proportions. Whether Galen will defeat him then, or if the author will prolong the conflict, is the question!

This is what I am waiting for. At this point, it is my key motivator to continue reading. Galen meets Meldorath. I hope for a real showdown!! 😁
I hope it lives beyond my imagination.

Most definitely they will. the only thing I'm wondering about is whether they'll meet as enemies or as allies. Galen wishes Voulhire's prosperity, and Meldorath is indifferent to Voulhire's state, of course as long as it doesn't collide with his ambitions. The way things are unfolding, I'd say the outcome of their meeting is hard to determine through guesses.

This is a really interesting question. I think when they meet they will most likely be enemies because Meldorath is portrayed as the antagonist of this novel.

That would be very exciting. I hope they do meet. But above all, I hope Galen won't fall prey to Meldorath. What if somehow, he has powers he is not even aware of? Although he comes across as naive, I want Galen to triumph.

I honestly hadn't thought about that, but I am hoping that they will. I feel like there must be an underlying connection between Lord Meldorath and the sudden arrival of Galen in Voulhire.

Of course, Meldorath and Galen should meet at some point. I think this is one of the main topics the series will deal with. However, I do believe Galen has to do a journey to gain some more character and strength before facing Meldorath. On the other side, we also need more development about Meldorath's past and how this will shape his future decisions.

I think that they will eventually meet. But if Galen is the protagonist/hero. I don’t think he can face Meldorath and survive. We didn’t see any inklings of magic with Galen. So I don’t know how or when they will meet. But I am super curious to find out. And what the outcome will be.

I think they are going to meet towards the end of the series, as it looks like those are the two major characters on black and white, bad and good spectrum.

I think they will definitely meet each other. Despite the large number of characters, I think the final showdown will be between Galen and Meldorath since they are the main charcters in the good guy and bad guy sections.

I think they will meet. Galen is the main protagonist, and I think meeting with Meldorath will form a very important plot part of his stay in Voulhire.

Yes, I think Galen will meet Meldorath someday. Even though their personalities seem like the two sides of a coin to me, I believe strongly that their paths will cross each other.

I both assume and hope so. Galen is the main character and Meldorath is the main villain. Typically those two characters eventually end up crossing paths in some way. I've only read the first book, but so far, Meldorath is an interesting villain with a lot left to uncover. I definitely hope the two meet.

I think Galen will play a great role in Voulhire's existence, which means, he is, probably, going to meet Meldorath in further series. I can't wait to see the events that would unfold when they meet.
