I agree. It really seems as though the plot is being set up for a showdown with these two. The other characters contribute to the story in their own way, but Galen is supposed to be the main protagonist, and Meldorath is the main villain.
I agree. But when the time comes that they'll meet, I think that Rowan and Demetrius will be present in his sides.

I do think that they are gonna meet in the near future as you see that how opposite they are to each other. Meldorath is a kind of threat to Voulhire and ever since Galen arrived in Voulhire he made it his home. So to protect his home he would indeed come face to face with Meldorath.

I think Galen is one of the protagonists and since Meldorath is the villain, I think at some point they will face each other.

I think it's imperative that they meet. I think all the characters from the first book (that aren't killed off) will somehow meet in the future. The stories do have to be one eventually.

I think Galen and Lord Meldorath reunion could be a major plot twist.

Given that Galen is the main character, I think he'll have something to do with the future of Meldorath, seeing as Meldorath is the main threat in the book.

Yes, I believe they would eventually meet and they would be an epic showdown between the two most famous characters, the protagonist and the antagonist.

Yes, I have this feeling that they would meet, especially because of the unknown stuff Galen and Rowan took from the mine.

This should not even be discussed as I am pretty sure this will be the main plot of the book.

I'm counting on it! I'm hoping Galen will be the overall protagonist of the series while Meldorath will be the antagonist. I'm also hoping Galen will get additional magical help from Beth and Alabaster to be able to defeat Meldorath.
