Which side will Beth take?

Post by jomana_3 »

When Beth escaped Caromentis and went to Cosmos, she appeared at Meldorath's house, and that left me wondering will she help him with his evil plans in the future?

Interesting. I don't think Beth realizes the 'sides' as of now. She just wants to learnt about the world. So I think she will stick with who makes it easier for her. I also don't think Meldorath would demand she help him.

I think that Beth will take Meldorath's side. She was present when Meldorath and his companions fought the captain.

I still can't conclude Meldorath's plan as evil since he only professed so far that he is uninterested in Cosmos but in Caromentis. However, if ever that Meldorath will perform evil plans, I think that Beth will not take part in it. But I think she will be a significant help to Meldorath in accessing the portal leading to Caromentis.

I think that as Beth suddenly arrived at Meldorath's house she doesn't know whom to believe and whom to not believe. In her world...nothing has a definite shape and everything is consumed by darkness. So she thinks that maybe Cosmos would be different. It is for sure that her perspective is gonna change shortly.

I think she will be on Meldorath's side for a while justifying his behaviour and only when it is too late and lot of people have died, she'll understand her mistake and switch sides.

I don't believe Beth will help Meldorath with his evil plans when she realises that he is evil. She's innocent but in a different way from Galen. When it dawns on her that there are sides and that Meldorath isn't really a victim, I believe she'll switch sides.

I think Meldorath and Beth will join forces for a while before Beth realizes that she is on the wrong side of the war and supports the city.

Beth seems like she is a tender soul, so I don't picture her helping Meldorath willingly. If she does help him, I think he would have to trick her into doing it.

We are told so little about Beth. But I hope she becomes a powerful and brave character and goes up against Meldorath because there were so few female characters in the first book. It would be an interesting take on her character.

Beth definitely loves living in the world of the cosmos. But I'm concerned about the side, she will choose between evil(Meldorath) and good(Galen). I mean, for now, she stands on the side of Meldorath, but I would love to see her on Galen side in upcoming parts,

I think the plot ahead of beth would be twisted. First, I believe he would side with Meldorath and in her coming days have a change of heart and side with Galen or the people of hillport.

For now I think she would take Meldorath side because she is seeing things from his perspective, after all he was the one imprisioned without trial, he is the only victim she sees now. However after she witnesses the real Meldorath she would switch sides as I think she won’t stand for evil.

I think that's the basic thing she will do. She will follow in meldorath path unless something more life changing occurs.

Beth is still trying to understand the physical world. I'm hoping she'll somehow find her to the good side. We don't even understand what Meldorath is up to yet. Is he really bad? Or is he just seeking for knowledge?
