There seems to be a lot of layers to the character of Kayden throughout the book leading to mixed views among the readers. What are your thoughts about Kayden? Which side is he more inclined to - good or bad?

I think Kayden is more inclined to bad than good. Although this thought is subjective, but he does more bad things than good.
