Are you looking for a novel with an engrossing story? A novel that creates a beautiful plot filled with so much adrenaline that it will have you on the edge of your seat? Then, The Last Time I Saw Alice by Richard Kirschenbaum might just be that book.
The story, set in 1980 tells the story of Addison, a man who has nothing but himself and is in desperate need of an escape, but perhaps what is about to unravel will only lead him to deadly events. Even if he is longing to reunite with the love of his life, Alice, Addison will face countless trials and tribulations.

I must say, this book made me sweat! I had to concentrate to keep up with Kirschenbaum´s plot line. It is undoubtedly a demanding book. Even though you cannot stop reading it, you need to be fully immersed in the story and pay attention to every detail to suck the marrow of his amazing narration. This particular characteristic of the book was what made me love this page-turner.

In addition, if readers are looking for fascinating dialogues. This book, and every little detail in the conversations the characters take part in, has readers pondering. It is deep in thought and makes readers reflect on certain aspects of the characters' crusades and their overall personalities. Truly a very interesting book, and I cannot believe this is only the author´s first work.

I would like people who are looking for a very scary and shocking plot to read this book. You cannot predict what will happen next, which is also one aspect of this story that I believe readers will enjoy. Even though it is, as I said, quite a demanding narration, it is worth it. However, if you are not a fan of a mid to long book, perhaps you should sit this one out. The book might seem easy to read but it has a complexity to it that is suitable for those a bit more patient, who enjoy a book a bit more challenging.

To conclude, I found nothing in this story that made me dislike it. I was very pleased after reading it, even though it was not my usual quick reading. The author, Richard Kirschenbaum, did an excellent job in depicting a truly breathtaking story. Lastly, I found no grammatical mistakes. I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. One of my favorites so far.

I’m really not interested in a book that I have to give a lot of concentration. Pure entertainment is what I want from my reading. While I’m trying to be able to read a longer book, I’m not quite there yet. Great review, it told me what I really needed to know.

That this book leaves one guessing what will happen next will drag me to read it. I also see from the book about the many challenges, which is part of life, of the main character. I will really like to see how he overcame.
