Review: Sisterhood by Michael Plamer

Post by ecoman »

I just finished reading Sisterhood by Michael Palmer. I’ve read a number of his books and I would have to say this is one of his best. The idea of nurses believing in mercy killing is not new. But this story goes one step beyond by having a subplot involving nurses making extra money for murdering patients. However, the novel is really a thriller with a detective story twist. The plot revolves around trying to prove that the main character has been falsely accused of murdering one of the many euthanized patients. You can’t help but keep reading this novel in hopes that the protagonist not only survives but somehow proves his innocence. The book is well written and worthy of five stars.

I agree ecoman. It is a touchy and controversial subject. Sound mind provoking.
