I'm not sure if it is right to say that this is an incredible fictional thriller, but I find the story quite interesting and uniqu in some way. Women dominating male species with the aim of erasing male species from the surface of the planet. Should we call that power move or a game of chess? Women subjecting men to mental/ego torture is another level power in motion. I'm curious to find out more about the story. It seems unique to read. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

Different characters and stories made the book very interesting. I was not fond of Eve and Sean, who had very negative views of the opposite sex, but I felt for the characters who were not so extreme in their views.

This work of fiction is daring to imagine a world where some gender roles and power were reversed. This would definitely be an interesting perspective to read about.

This seems like an interesting dystopian book. I like that the storyline explores gender in an interesting and slightly controversial way. I'm curious to find out how things unfold for the characters. Congratulations on making book of the day!

Notwithstanding that I'm not an ardent reader of fictional stories, I found it to be fascinating. The storyline is engaging and the characterization is great. Congrats on BOTD.

What a plot! I've never really thought of living a a world with this structure. I mean, men are just too important. Anyway, the story makes for a nice fiction. Kudos to the author.

The Prison of Power gives a taste of what it would be like when women were at the helm of power, especially when they dominated it. I downloaded a free copy of the book and am looking to see if men retaliated to ensure gender equality and at least be in leadership. Congratulations BOTD!

This book seems very interesting because the story reflects in the future, how things were in the past. So, the reader gets to see how the world would be in the eyes of the author.

Your review piqued my interest in this book! I have seen this cover and title on various platforms, and it just didn't capture my attention. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your review and put it on my "To Read" list! I've also been running into quite a few books with many characters, and like you, I agree that the character development is generally less well-developed in these cases. I'm glad this is not the case for this book. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

This review of 'The prison of power - a man made tale' leaves the book playing in my head like a movie already. A society with women leading and men marginalized and about to be obliterated, sounds very captivating almost a sharp opposite of what was obtainable in the real world centuries ago. A must read for me.
