Interesting. The fact that this book varies between many points of view and has more story aspects than "oh no, someone is going to end the world" intrigues me even though I don't typically read books about terrorists and spies. Additionally, the characters appear to be nicely developed.

It’s going to be exciting to know if Uri and Lara will be able to influence Walid and turn him to their side as the power duo pursue the terrorists and prevent these maniacs from creating more havoc and massive destruction to the country.

This is the third time I've read a review over Lara and Uri's adventures. The entirety of this book series seems to be very well written. This book seems to be very suspenseful and a high paced thriller. I truly do need to read this series.

The part that got me is the mention of Ekdikeo. I would love to know what it means. And also, the use of code language between Lara and Uri. I am looking forward to reading this book. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

Thanks for your review. It's such a good spy novel with lots of mysteries and thrillers. I'm not a fan of novels.... But I'm looking forward on reading this one.

I read a few pages of this book and I agree with the reviewer; the perspective changes in the narrative are perfect. From what I understand, 16-year-old Walid Jahangiri is influenced to be an important element in a terrorist attack. Uri and Lara must ensure that this attack does not happen. I have reservations because I don't like reading about terrorism, not even in fiction. However, congratulations on being BOTD!

It sounds like a gripping espionage thriller with well-developed characters and a unique narrative perspective. Your insights into the strengths of the book, such as the character backgrounds and the switching of perspectives, make it even more appealing. I enjoy reading the sequel, "Devil Among Us," as well!

I was looking at this book not long ago and wasn't that interested with the summary, however, I didn't read the reviews and should have. Any book I've read that three author takes time to develop the characters to be distinct, it always takes the book to a greater level and that makes it worth reading even more. This was a review that makes me want to read a book that I previously dismissed because I didn't take the time to look further into it and read the reviews. After this, I will not make that mistake again.

The moments of respite in the plot, like Uri and Lara's exchanges, provide valuable insights into the characters, making them more relatable to readers. It was indeed a lovely read. Congrats on BOTD.

Winnick does it again! A great nitty-gritty of events and incidents that shape the world beneath the visible one to the common eye. Good work for a sneak peek into the dark bylanes spread under.

I'm not a big fan of terrorist thrillers or books that deal with political issues because the authors are usually biased and they're usually trying to influence their readers, so I don't think a book like this is for me. However, I love to hear that the characters are well developed and realistic. Thanks for the review.

I read the first chapter of the novel where the character of Uri was introduced. It is true that the author tried to portray the story in a unique way by switching the characters. Thank you for the review. I am looking forward to finish the reading.
