I'm intrigued by the plot. As a lover of the genre, I'm eager to discover the secrets of the hotel. Additionally, the characters seem well-developed and to be fitting the story. I'd love to read more about them.

The detailed depiction of the Adelphi Hotel as a character in itself adds a unique layer to the narrative. Your review emphasizes how Derek Picot's experience managing luxury hotels enriches the story. The hotel's resilience through challenges becomes a compelling backdrop, and I'm excited to see if it triumphs in the face of a takeover bid.

Thank you for the review. I would never have thought that the book would be so intriguing, if not for your review. The way you described the author's sense of humour got me smiling. I wish the typos didn't have to reduce the star rating.

The novel has a portray of characters with all kinds of matters going on, dealing with murder, petty thieft, cheating, homosexuality, romance ideally a lot of current situations. According to Richard Marker's physical description he doesn't seem to be the right personnel to handle Adelphi Hotel security system as the chief security officer, but basing on his background he fits in despite his youthful like desire and strength towards romance. With all these situations it captures ones attention to get a copy to flip the pages and read more. Thanks for the review

Richard certainly has to deal with lots of issues involved in managing the security of Adelphi hotel, especially in a city such as London. I can't wait to read how he manages to deal with murder incidents. Thanks for the thorough review.
