'Free Fish Friday' : Book 1 in the Slacker Mills Series by Lee Stone. A promising mystery book with a quirky main character. I would like to give it a try.

This is an interesting book with a mysterious plot. I liked how the characters seemed complex and well-developed. The author seems to have done a good job of trying to tie up all the loose ends of the story well. Thanks for this engaging review!

I do like a good mystery and I wonder how Slacker clears his name. This one really sounds like a great read and I can't wait to read it. A great big kudos on bagging the #BOTD and I must admit that your review definitely sold me on it

The first point of view is the best as it connects us more to the protagonist. I like how the personality of the protagonist takes a positive change and all the themes the author has touched. Would love to give this series a read!

Free Fish Friday has turned out to an exciting read . Slacker's friend Jerry is found dead and Slacker is anxiously going about solving his death, as he is seen as the prime suspect. Will the real killer be found? Thanks for the review.

The book seems nice enough. The suspense really comes with the dead body discovery. It is sad that Slacker is immediately suspected for it. Congratulations on being the Book of the Day.

I wonder why the closest person to a murder victim is usually the first suspect. I would definitely like to witness the evolvement of slacker. Great review.

It seems like a good thriller novel. Though I don't care much about the details related to sea creatures in a story portraying the sea as one of the central characters, the thrill this novel presents attracts me nonetheless.

An exciting review, the book seems slow paced otherwise it will be a fantastic read with the relationship between Jerry and slacker mills. The author writing is also engaging. I look forward to reading the book.

Slacker Mills is an interesting character in this book and he somehow stands out. In a community of peace and quiet called Key West,a place of amazing sunsets and sunrises,is shocked at the discovery of a naked lifeless man on the South Marina.

How many pubs do you know that offer a free fish Friday special? This shows how closely knit the community of Key West was and obviously small enough to know one another. Jerry a good friend of Slacker Mills body was found lifeless. This changed Slacker's fame and how people looked at him at Key West because he became the prime suspect of his friends death.

Jerry moved to Key West five years ago and they have been friends with Slacker since. In a modern day community of lesbians and gays,Slacker looked like a gay man , with his bandana on and a perfectly trimmed moustache he didn't seem to care. Jerry from room 7 had fished with Slacker on a daily basis Monday to Friday at best and in all the 5 years they fished he never touched the rod and that never bothered Mills.Jerry had just recently bought a boat . The moment he possessed the boat called Miami Sunset he changed it to Ayudame meaning " help me". Like Jerry I did not know that it was bad luck to change the name of a boat.

He was an athletic man and people spoke of Jerry like a ball of talent but after Slacker saw his impressive dives out of " practice" , he believed anything anyone told him Jerry was capable of. He just did not want to partake in the fishing. His death really traumatised Slacker as he finds ways to clear his name off this tragic phenomenon .

The book is amazing and we cannot help it but fall in love with Slackers emotion and journey throughout. The characters were not many which made it east for me to focus on the plot and intention of the book. A 4 out of 4 for this spectacular read. I hope we will be seeing of from Mills.
