Yes, the author revisited Macbeth adapting the story to the setting he created and to some of the characters' features he made up on his own. Thank you for your appreciation!

I like the play on words that the author used in writing a modern story inspired by the Shakespearean classic. Although I'm not in the mood to read about violence these days, the story and the complex characters are intriguing.

Probably, in this case, the sense of tragedy is greater than the description of violent act, but it can indeed require the proper mood. Thank you for your appreciation!

This is an amazing review, thank you. The book seems more interesting because of the link with Shakespeare. I am a fan of Shakespeare so i believe i will love this book.
