Thank you for the review. The book seems to catch the eye of the reader very fast, but as you said without the first book it will a bit difficult to understand it. I guess I need to start reading Behind the Door and then this one. :))

Sexual behaviour disorders I think are very sensitive and delicate issue. It must really have been tedious for the author to put this together. Thanks for the review.

Looks like this is a good book and I love the cover. However, I think I have to read the first book to enjoy this book fully. Thanks for the in-depth review.

It sounds as if this has all the classic ingredients of a thriller. I note that it's probably better to read the first book first.

The book sounds interesting as I love delving into the psychological aspects of a person's behaviour. As you said you do not think this would work as a stand alone novel, I guess I should consider reading book one first.

Sometimes, life seems to be partial to some people, especially to Simone. It is a pity seeing the people that loves you dies because of you

Your review was very helpful...thank you! :-) The plot sounds very engaging, having the ability to capture the reader's attention and keep it through to the end! Congratulations, A. Gavazzoni on being chosen for today's #BOTD!
Great! I hope you enjoy both as much as I did! :)

"Lara's Journal" is a 2017 romance novel by A. Gavazzoni, following Simone Bennet, a psychologist with sexual behavior disorders, as she recovers from traumatic events from "Behind the Door." The story is a sequel, but not a standalone, with murders linked to Simone. The book is suitable for mature readers.
