Great review! I am much too shy about my own writing to get it published. As a student at University, I feel like school has really ruined the love that I used to have as a writer at the expense of developing my research skills.

Structure is a sort of opposite to creativity, at least it's process. Try purposely writing about something that goes against literary structure, and when it moves you, continue. You can always format after it's finished...isn't that what editors and agents are for?

It is a rather good review, isn't it?
As for the shyness, I overcame that by leaving the stories alone for so long that they no longer felt like they were mine. So I could convince myself that I was putting them up for a friend :D
