I'm always down for a medical thriller, and this one looks interesting. I'll add it to my bookshelf. Thanks for the review. :) :)

This somehow reminds me of the COVID times. I hope Dr. Mallory perseveres.

This book expertly blends medical accuracy with thrilling suspense, making it a standout in the realm of bio-terrorism thrillers. Jenna Podjasek, MD, leverages her expertise in immunology to create a story that feels both realistic and gripping, especially in the post-COVID world. Nice review.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are well-developed and believable. The author does an excellent job of creating tension and building suspense, keeping the reader engaged in the story. I couldn’t put the book down! I wanted to know what was going to happen next and how it would be resolved. To me, this is the mark of an excellently written thriller.
- If the plot of a book is not the readers' field of expertise then immediately they are interested and they want to find out more. Maybe even want to figure it out themselves. It's good that this book has that quality. A well executed review. Thank you.

A virus being created and spread by a scientist is the main essence of this medical thriller. A book like this seems so much more realistic now that we're in a post-pandemic world, which makes it all the more scarier. However, I love this type of genre, and the fact that each chapter is told from a different perspective, as well as not immediately knowing who the bad guy is, makes it all the more interesting. Congratulations on BOTD.

The covid-19 pandemic has left a strong impression on our mind and anything related to bioterrorism gives rise to new fear. However, the author's expertise in immunology also means we get to learn the internal working of a virus better. I hope to enjoy reding the book. Thanks for the review!

This sounds like a wonderful read! The comparison to authors like Robin Cook and Michael Crichton sets high expectations, and the high number of positive feedback on the book suggests it's well worth reading.

Thank you for your review that explains some of the plot. I read the sample and I will need to read on to see how the first scene on the beach fits in and if the scientist goes through with his evil plan.

I will be truthful to that the author has done a great job by writing this book which gives great insight into the medical background. It kind of reminds me of COVID-19 a lot. Congratulations on making it to the BOTD!

With the recent pandemic, a medical thriller about a deadly virus feels quite relevant. It investigates how those in control of breakthroughs in science have the ability to save or ruin lives.

Given what just happened with the COVID pandemic, bioterrorism is a very much a reality. While this is not the book for me, I appreciate the author's imagination and realism presented in this book. Thanks for the review!

“Particles in the Air” by Jenna Podjasek, MD is a medical thriller that focuses on the threat of bioterrorism to our society. I was shocked to see a disgruntled scientist at the CDC behind the unleashing of a new virus created at the CDC on the American people. The widespread panic and the patients dying at a FEMA relocation camp. Identifying the villain does not occur until later in the book but the team led by Dr. Mallory Hayes is determined to identify the virus before it becomes a pandemic. Readers will see the virus from the eyes of the villainous scientist, his ex-girlfriend, the terrorists and Dr. Mallory. One will need to read the book to find out who the villain is and if Dr. Mallory and her team is successful in identifying the virus and stops it before it becomes a pandemic. This book will keep readers on the edge of their seat and not want to put it down until they reach the last page. I would like Dr. Fauci to endorse this book and write the opening intro.

This review perfectly captures the essence of Particles in the Air, emphasizing both its thrilling pace and the expert knowledge woven into the narrative. The multi-perspective storytelling sounds especially compelling, offering readers a nuanced view of both the heroes and the villains. It’s refreshing to hear how the author uses her medical expertise to enhance the realism of the plot, especially in the wake of recent global health events. This sounds like a must-read for fans of medical thrillers who enjoy a gripping, well-researched story. Thank you for the thoughtful review—it’s made me eager to dive into this book!
