The Last Ark is a sci-fi and action thriller. The storyline seems captivating and interesting. The title is misleading, I was expecting more of a historical fiction. Derek's adventure through different locations reminds me of Indiana Jones' movies, but with the lost item being a futuristic tech instead of an artefact.

“The Last Ark: Lost Secrets of Qumran” by Guy Morris is a well-balanced religious and conspiracy geopolitical thriller that will be hard to put down once a reader has started the book. This book is based on a true Knights Templar story that combines artifacts and ancient prophecies with modern espionage and AI technology. The story begins with the discovery that decades ago the “SLVIA” AI program escaped the NSA Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, and has never been re-captured. Following a brutal massacre, the Ethiopian Ark of the Covenant was sold on the international black market. Then the death of an old Saudi King drives a flawed peace agreement between the Saudis and Israelis. The peace deal was promoted by the U.S. president currently under criminal indictment looking for political asylum. An assassin was deployed by the Solar Temple to hunt down the U.S. Defense artificial intelligence name SLVIA while the action hero Derek Taylor is trying to find the lost copper scroll and that contains an ancient secret. The international action sparks fear of a modern-day Anti-Christ and the difficulty it may take getting the artifact back from a Russian oligarch. Great timing for BOTD with the modern-day issues we currently face regarding religion and conspiracies, i.e. Gaza’s future and American Democracy. Wars that have been ignited by religious beliefs, have been suffered throughout the world for the past 6,000+ years. White Supremacists, greedy and selfish people have been using religion and conspiracies to create conflicts, wars and mis-treatment of human beings since Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden. The chase includes plenty of history, mayhem and death. The sample was excellent so I purchased the book and I am adding it to my to-read shelf.

I am not a believer in anything supernatural, especially in predictions made by numerous prophets, oracles, and other magicians so readily provided for customers money. But in my opinion, forecasts of the Sophisticated Language Virtual Intelligence Algorithm calculated based on tendencies and statistical data are more trustworthy. Therefore, the book seems quite interesting from this point of view, and I thank you for the recommendation!

The title of the book catches attention giving the impression of a missing/ recovery mission and adventure. Derek's character shows formidable mental and physical strength in fulfilling the mission of recovering SLVIA. I am undoubtedly going to enjoy the book. Thanks for a beautiful review!

So the title LAST ARK it entails everything you need to know about the book , so ARK is more like something that used to protect people from danger . So what the write trying to say is that what has been stolen here is precious and mustn't get into the wrong hand . If you can check the picture of the book the is a symbol that represents God's watchful care over humanity. The AI that is been stolen in the lab has a very significant meaning over government.
