Review: Who Killed My Daughter? - Lois Duncan

Post by [nette] »

Who Killed My Daughter? is a mystery/thriller and ultimately true story of Lois Duncan's search to find her daughter's killer.

Kaitlyn Arquette was an eighteen-year-old girl that was full of life. In unfortunate events, Kaitlyn was chased and shot to death; and the Albuquerque police reported that it was nothing but a mere random killing. Kaitlyn's mother, Lois, didn't believe that Kaitlyn's killing was random, and thought that it might have been her boyfriend or the people he was hanging around with; also believing that Kaitlyn had known something she shouldn't have.

Although Lois couldn't prove that Kaitlyn's death was anything but random, she conducted her own investigation, ultimately going to a psychic, desperate to find her killer.

Who Killed My Daughter? tells the tale of the about Kaitlyn's death, the investigation surrounding it, the events following her death and Lois searching for the truth of why Kaitlyn was murdered.

I really enjoyed this book. I had read this as a school book at my charter school in high school. It is more of a mystery than a thriller, and the interesting part is these are actual places in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is also information concerning her daughter, stating that if you know any information to share the information.

Really is an awesome book; overall I think I would rate this book a 7.5-8 out of 10

I read this book in 2010 and it was very good. It is a very sad and terrible thing that happened though. But I can say that Lois Duncan is a very determined woman. To this day she is still looking for her daughter's killer.
